ABOUT

The Money Moves City Play Summer Camp is a four-week enrichment program for youth ages 10 – 16 that combines financial literacy, career exploration, civic leadership, and theatre. Students will step into real-world city roles, such as mayor, police officer, firefighter, banker, and business owner, and bring their learning to life through a final City Play performance. This program is a continuation of the Money Moves Summer Camp and serves as a capstone experience. The camp runs Monday through Wednesday, July 6–30, 2026, from 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with morning sessions at First Baptist Church, 6201 Red Bank Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45212, and afternoon sessions at New Vision United Methodist Church, 4400 Reading Rd, Cincinnati, OH 45229.

What We Offer

Students will participate in financial literacy workshops, career exploration sessions, leadership and civic skill development, theatre and performance instruction, and physical development activities. The program culminates in the City Play, a live performance that demonstrates how a city functions and how various careers work together.

Who Can Attend?

The camp is open to boys and girls ages 9–16. Maximum enrollment is 25 students.

Tuition 

Tuition is a one-time fee for the entire camp. The cost is $150 for the first child. Each additional sibling may attend for $50 per household. â€‹

Schedule 

Weekly Structure:

  • Week 1 (July 6–8): Financial Foundations & Orientation

  • Week 2 (July 13–15): Career Exploration & Guest Speakers

  • Week 3 (July 20–22): Leadership & Community Development

  • Week 4 (July 27–29): City Play Showcase Intensive (Final Rehearsals & Performance)

Daily Schedule: Morning — First Baptist Church (6201 Red Bank Rd)

  • 8:30–9:00 AM — Breakfast

  • 9:05–9:35 AM — Prayer, Creed & Mindfulness

  • 9:40–11:35 AM — Theatre Instruction & City Play Development

  • 11:40–12:00 PM — Transition & Transportation

Afternoon — New Vision UMC (4400 Reading Rd)

  • 12:05–1:00 PM — Lunch

  • 1:05–2:05 PM — Weekly Theme Sessions (Finance, Careers, Leadership, or Showcase Prep)

  • 2:05–3:15 PM — Physical Development

  • 3:15–3:30 PM — Dismissal
