ABOUT 

Madisonville Mission Ministries (MMM), in partnership with Keep Cincinnati Beautiful (KCB), First Generation Leaders of America, and the City of Cincinnati, is proud to launch a Youth Beautification Project focused on the Madisonville and Kennedy Heights neighborhoods. This initiative aims to uplift the community by improving the curb appeal and exterior conditions of local homes, led by the energy, skills, and dedication of our youth.

 

​We are committed to serving homeowners who may not have the financial means to complete these repairs themselves, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families who are low-income and disadvantaged. Through this project, we aim to ensure that everyone has access to a safe, clean, and dignified living environment.

Project Focus

Local teens will take the lead in hands-on service projects, contributing to the transformation of their neighborhoods by completing exterior-only home improvements, including:

  • Light carpentry (e.g., porch and step repairs)

  • Exterior painting

  • Pressure washing

  • Sanding

  • Landscaping and yard cleanup

  • Fence repairs

  • General curbside enhancements

  •  No Interior Work: To prioritize safety and visibility, all work will be performed on the outside of homes only.

We cleaned, pressure-washed, sanded, and painted these steps to give them a fresh, smooth, like-new finish.

We removed the old green carpet, carefully measured and cleaned the area, and installed fresh green turf. Patience was key to ensuring a perfect finish.

We pressure-washed, cleaned, and sanded the entire area. We also replaced the steps and spindles, then finished it off with a fresh coat of paint for a complete transformation.
